Sri Lanka Classic Tour
AIRPORT / SIGIRIYA Upon landing at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be met by one of our representatives and garlanded with flowers. Then proceed to Habarana. Check-in at the hotel, and rest of the day free to relax. Overnight stay at Suduaraliya hotel, Polonnaruwa or similar SIGIRIYA / ANURADHAPURA / MIHINTALE / SIGIRIYA After breakfast, worship the sacred city of Anuradhapura. Thereafter, visit Mihintale in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Suduaraliya hotel, Polonnaruwa or similar hotel SIGIRIYA / POLONNARUWA / SIGIRIYA After breakfast visit and climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Thereafter, visit the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa. Overnight stay at Suduaraliya hotel, Polonnaruwa or similar hotel SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY After breakfast, leave for Kandy. Visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple on the way. Then it is time to explore the secrets of a Spice Garden and a Batik Factory. Journey continues to Kandy. Check-in at the hotel. At 6:00pm witness the Kandyan Dance. Then visit the DaladaMaligawa (Temple of the Tooth). Overnight stay at Devon hotel or similar hotel in Kandy KANDY / PINNAWELA / NUWARA ELIYA After breakfast, visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Baby elephants are bottle-fed around 9:00am and then the whole herd is taken for a bath in the river. Return to Kandy and visit the Royal Botanical Garden. Proceed to NuwaraEliya en-route visit a Tea Factory. Afterwards, visit the golf course, Victoria Park, & Gregory Lake. Overnight stay at Thuruliya Lodge or similar hotel in NuwaraEliya NUWARA ELIYA / TISSAMAHARAMA After breakfast depart to Kataragama. En-route visit Ravana water falls (8m). Check-in at the hotel. Around 3:00pm leave for a jeep safari of the Yala National Park. Overnight stay at Hibiscus Garden hotel or similar hotel in Tissa TISSAMAHARAMA / GALLE / COLOMBO After breakfast, transfer to Colombo. En-route visit HambantotaSalterns and the Stilt Fisherman at Weligama. Then arrive at the Galle Fort. Continue journey to Colombo and proceed on a Colombo City Tour. Overnight stay at Fair View city hotel or similar hotel in Colombo COLOMBO / AIRPORT There is no itinerary planned for the day. After breakfast depart to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo in time to catch your departure flight.
